Buddhist Concepts

Within Buddhism is a multitude of core beliefs and concepts. These six are most commonly known to be the fundamental building blocks of Buddhism:

Human Revolution

A process of inner transformation and of bringing forth one's full positive human potential.

Interconnectedness

The interconnectedness of life and the idea that nothing exists in isolation, independent of other life.

Compassion

An action that seeks to relieve living beings from suffering and help them attain absolute happiness. Buddha shows compassion for his land when he sets out to share his revelation.

Wisdom

That which directs knowledge toward good, and toward the the constant creation of value. Which leads into the fifth aspect...

Creating Value

The positive aspects of reality generated when one productively engages with life's daily challenges.

Treasuring Diversity

An attitude of respect toward all cultures and individuals, treasuring the differences of many.
